"I’ve been there like 20+ times. The chef is an amazing person and you could see him cooking from the table. I was quite surprised that Dong yuan is a 3.9 rating on average. It seems like (from the negative reviews) there’re some issues with take outs, I don’t have a say in that as I never ordered a take out. Eat in, you’ll enjoy the place."

"If you’re looking for an absolute authentic Chinese experience, look no further. From the style of ordering, to the aromatics of the food, especially the soups and the fried chillies and pork - who needs to spend a fortune on a flight ticket to China, when the best dishes are served here?! Bare in mind, when you do come here, you are here for the experience to eat food - nothing more, nothing less. This restaurant was quick, efficient, and delicious. Most likely the most authentic and fair priced restaurant in London! Overall, come here if you miss home, or need a good comfort meal, or even feeling under the weather!"

"This one tasted so nice. A guy who speaks english was kind enough to tell me his recommendations from the list. I ordered chicken served with bunch of chilli from his recommendations. I first thought it could burn my tongue, but when it comes with rice, it was amazing. I'll definitely visit here again."

"Freshly made Chinese food - really authentic! Would recommend to order delivery because there is very limited space in the restaurant and the seats are very crowded. Favorites are: spicy liver, spicy chicken and xiao huang yu. The food is not too spicy and has a great flavour."
